Sheila's Cottage

Displays

The current displays have suffered some water damage due to leaks. The aim of updating the displays again is to use professional exhibition designers to bring the exhibition in line with accessibility guidelines and increase visitor engagement. We want to encourage people to spend more time exploring the island and to make return visits, thus increasing opportunities for local businesses.

Combined with a new leaflet and map showing walking routes as well as some new in-landscape signage, visitors will gain insights into Ulva’s past while learning about the community buyout, plans for repopulating the island and ensuring a sustainable future.

What do you think?

We’d very much appreciate your thoughts and impressions on the proposals, as well as ideas and suggestions for how to tell Ulva’s stories to schoolchildren, locals and tourists. Nothing is set in stone so far, so your views count!

Many thanks for being involved. Please feel free to download and fill out the PDF linked below. Responses and comments can be emailed to admin@nwmullwoodland.co.uk
